Allotment is expected on or about 26 October and listing on NSE and BSE on or about 28 October. According to the red herring prospectus filed with SEBI, the issue is a fresh issue only, with no offer for sale. The money goes to the company, not to selling shareholders.

The prospectus says the money will be used to prepay, in full or in part, certain borrowings of Reliance Jio Infocomm, and for general corporate purposes.

What are the Jio Platforms IPO price band and lot size?

The company announced a price band of Rs 1,065 to Rs 1,119 per share, with bids in multiples of 12 shares.
